Melanie Williams, MA
(she/her)
Pre-Licensed Therapist

Supervisor: Elizabeth Hughes, LMHC

Melanie is a pre-licensed mental health counselor and recent graduate of Assumption University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology. She is currently working toward LMHC licensure while providing effective, compassionate care to clients of all ages.

Melanie has experience supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and social challenges. She draws on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Self-Compassion Therapy, and she also incorporates expressive modalities like art and play therapy. This integrative style allows clients to process their experiences in creative and meaningful ways. When appropriate, Melanie welcomes the integration of spiritual or faith-based perspectives to support each client’s unique healing journey.

With a collaborative and compassionate approach, Melanie strives to create a safe environment where clients feel heard, seen, and supported as they work toward growth and well-being.

What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.
