Megan Hay, MSW

(she/her)

Therapist

Supervisor: Elizabeth Hughes, LMHC and Kerry Lavallee, LICSW

Megan is a pre-licensed social worker and recent graduate of Simmons University, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in mental health. She is working toward her Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) credential and has experience supporting individuals and families in a family shelter and a women’s dual diagnosis program.

Megan enjoys working with clients navigating anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, and body image or self-esteem concerns. She takes an empathetic, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to meet clients where they are. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), role-playing, play and art therapy, and the integration of spiritual or religious perspectives when appropriate, she helps clients build resilience and challenge unhelpful thought patterns.

Megan views therapy as a collaborative process—serving as a compassionate co-pilot while empowering individuals to recognize their strengths, embrace growth, and move toward their best possible life.

What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.
